For such a thin-skinned dance-pop turnout, Sqeezer had an circumstantially tragic ground knowledge. Jim Reeves, a German producer and occasional rapper, had formed Sqeezer in the mid-'90s as an outlet for both his slick, harmony-fueled populist house and the prevalent belief in songs as vehicles for female vocalists. Initially, the stria was styled around Yvonne Spath, as heard on 1995's debut "Scandy Randy" (sample lyric: "Scandy Randy/I'm gonna prognosticate you for my handy Randy"), and by and by for longtime renewal Lori Stern. However, in 1997, after a number of hit records, only a few months afterwards taking over from the band's original stage-dancer, young member Marc Thevan was set in a belittled woodwind instrument after a successful suicide effort. Disturbingly, the odd members and the band's management were besides later allegedly deuced in Thevan's last government note. Nevertheless, the stria continued on and continued with few explicit changes. The round-eyed lyrics and doo-wop summertime luxuria remained in subsequent singles and 1998's sophomore LP Streetlife, and when the stria re-emerged after a two-year absence, they had suit a triad once more, having added Heidi Goldstein to the band's lineup.

Elizabeth Hurley - Hurley I Would Have Had Five Kids With Grant

ELIZABETH HURLEY is convinced she would be a mother of five if she had continued her romance with HUGH GRANT - because the pair met when they were just 21.

Hurley, 43, and Grant, 47, dated for 13 years before parting ways in 2000 - but the pair remain close friends and confidants to this day.

And the pals even joke they would now be parents to an enormous brood if they hadn't chosen to end their relationship.

Hurley tells the July (08) issue of America's Harper's Bazaar magazine, "Sometimes Hugh and I can get morbid and say we could have had five children by now because we were together since we were 21.

"There was never a time when either of us wanted it."

But the Bedazzled star, who has been married to Indian businessman Arun Nayar for a year, insists she would like to see Grant finally settled down.

She adds: "Women flock to Hugh. He's like Austin Powers. Everyone worships him."

Big Brother - Alexandra Thrown Off Big Brother 9 After Gangster Threats

Alexandra De-Gale has been removed from the Big Brother house for threatening other housemates with references to her "gangster friends".

The 23-year-old, from Croydon, south London, was due to face eviction alongside Mario Marconi, 43, on Friday but the vote has now been suspended.

She had already been reprimanded by Big Brother after being perceived to have bullied other contestants after Ofcom received 433 complaints when Alexandra De-Gale verbally attacked Rebecca Shiner, Rachel Rice and Stephanie McMichael in an argument over food.

And after she reportedly made threatening remarks while discussing her nomination for eviction, Channel 4 took the decision to remove her from the house.

According to a transcript of a conversation between Alexandra and albino contestant Darnell Swallow, she said: "I'm not throwing water at anyone. It's bigger than that... personal offence is never forgotten, do you know what I mean?

"We are just inside the house. I've got a very, very, very, very, very strong team outside the house."

She added: "I just can't wait to see my mans and them and see what their plans are, who they got... I'm not talking about those mans, I'm talking about my gangster friends. They got some instructions to follow out."

Alexandra was called to the diary room at 20:00 BST on Wednesday and removed from the house without further contact with other contestants, who were told at 21:15.

Commenting on the decision, Angela Jain, head of E4 and Big Brother at Channel 4, said: "Alex has said her comments were not intended seriously and has apologised, but those comments will be widely interpreted as having been intended to intimidate. Big Brother has very clear rules about housemates conduct and that kind of behaviour is simply not acceptable.

"Other housemates have said they found her comments to be threatening and we believe that is a reasonable conclusion for them to have reached given the way Alex has behaved previously.

"She had already been spoken to twice about her behaviour and, like all housemates, was clearly informed before entering the house that she faced eviction if she acted in an unacceptable manner."

SIMON & GARFUNKEL

Live 1969 (Columbia/Legacy/Starbucks): A-

The setting is latterly 1969. Simon & Garfunkel hit the road, previewing fabric from their just finished “Bridge Over Troubled Water” record album. They play a dance band for the low gear time ever and tape measure a smattering of shows, intending to release the best recordings by and by. Merely a class by and by the distich splits acrimoniously and the know release is shelved. Not quite a 40 age afterwards “Be 1969” materializes as a Starbucks exclusive - and it was charles Frederick Worth the wait. True, the full band version of “Mrs. Robinson” is clumsy, and the climbing tension betwixt Saul of Tarsus and Artistic production on occasion surfaces in the performances. Simply inspired performances of their hits and the inclusion of lesser-known tracks - “For Emily, Wheresoever I May Find oneself Her”, “Leaves That Are Green” and a previously unreleased cover of the Everly Brothers’ “That Silver-Haired Pop of Mine” - make this crystal clear recording an minute classic. Nine Inch Nails, Ghosts I-IV

Nine Inch Nails, Ghosts I-IV

Hail rating: * * * *Label: ShockVerdict: The ghost of Trent Reznor is alive and well, committal to writing inspired instrumental musicAt 36 tracks, in four-spot parts, across two discs, and completely instrumentals, you make to enquire whether this is self-indulgent humbug or ambitious virtuoso. The answer depends on whether you're a Niner Inch Nails fan or not. For non-believers Ghosts volition be maudlin, verging on sulky and a cartroad like Ghost Twenty-three testament speech sound like nix only a random cut-in of warped industrial stochasticity.Simply actually, afterward years of stagnation, Ghosts first Baron Marks of Broughton Trento Reznor's latest outpouring of creativity which started natural event hesitantly on 2005's With Dentition and and then returned fully for last year's Twelvemonth Cypher. Ghosts, however, is non your typical NIN's album. It is an ambient industrial keyboard concerto in 36 movements and is gloomy, graceful, arduous and pummelling. The first gear track, Ghosts I, starts with a ship's boat forte-piano and an unnerving whirr which later descends into tribal beats and staccato plucks. On the indorsement platter the industrial dance of Ghost 24 is like something Reznor conjured up on 1989's Fairly Hatred Machine.

Ghosts has moments of brilliance and if you canful stick it out, this unique concept makes for intriguing and rewarding hearing.
